This mini-course covers the basics of Einstein's Principle of Equivalence, the concept of mass, quantum fields, the Higgs field and its role in the mass of elementary particles, the discovery of the Higgs boson at CERN, the CMS detector, and dark matter. It also explores the possibility of using the Higgs boson to discover dark matter and discusses the scenario of vacuum decay. Additionally, it includes a bonus section on the interrelationship between time and mass.
